Right from the very beginning I felt strongly that “The Song of Mother Divine” should be published in book form and that it needed to have artwork. But where was this to come from?
Impatiently
choosing what seemed to be the easy option I tried to design the book myself.
So I came up with something truly hideous and formatted it ready to be printed
by Lulu.com the online self-publishing service. Fortunately I had enough sense
left to think of sending the .pdf file out to a few friends first. Suffice it
to say I soon came to my senses and decided to wait until the right artwork
manifested – as I was sure it would.
Time
passed – months – and nothing happened. Then my daughter Amy moved back
home and I was struck by the blindingly obvious: I was living with a
professional illustrator.
Not only is Amy an Illustrator and Graphic Designer she is also an exceptional being, a truly beautiful soul. So who better to create some illustrations for “The Song of Mother Divine”?
Sacred Geometry
I
had a vision by now of the sort of illustrations I wanted. So I set the Amy
the task of reading up on sacred geometry and creating something around a
progression that I had in my head. She came up with some beautiful designs and
we sat down together to tweak them and to fit them into a sequence that told
the story I was looking for.
The Song of Mother Divine is available direct from the publisher and from all large online retailers e.g. amazon.com, amazon.co.uk etc.
Also it is available in the UK from shops such as Borders, Waterstones etc.
